Destination wedding, Punta Cana, E-session of Mel and Raine

What can I say when it comes to these two beautiful people's wedding and e-session? I am simply speechless.. Melissa has found me way back last year, when we decided to put together a beautiful boudoir book for her wedding night. She is absolutely stunning, courageous and a kind hearted woman, and I am very lucky to have met her, her other half, Raine and their wonderful families! Having shot her boudoir, bringing the sexy foxy lady out of her, we just simply connected so when it came for her to ask me to shoot her destination wedding, I felt honoured and it was such a sweet treat ;-) ! We landed in Punta Cana on the last day of January, but previously we hang out at the airport for 9 hours due to a long delay....Anyways, before her big day, we shot the engagement session right down the on beach. Here is a very few of the images we took together.....Please check back, as I will post their wedding day very soon as well!

Kavitha & Pranav - Ottawa E-shoot

Kavitha and Pranav flew in from New York City to have their engagement photos done, just in time to catch some of the good old Canadian cold weather here. We got lucky on the sunny side though, and we had a blast just around the "Hill" as you can see it in the photos. Appropriately I made them roll and kiss in the snow;-). Later on we made up for the cold weather with a nice cup of tea. Stay tuned in for their Hindu wedding and ceremony in May! Katie and Adam-yet another beautiful day

You might remember Katie and Adam's engagement session, since we shot in rain and sunshine and that is just how their big day turned out to be. Bit of rain, bit of sunshine yet plenty of spirit!
They were fantastic to spend time with not mentioning their awesome families, who were like a family to me. As you can see the photos turned out to be great and could not help but post many of them.

Mishka and James- Another fun session

I met Mishka just a bit more than one year ago at Naomi and Noel's wedding. She is one of the funniest person I have ever met and she was also her maid of honour. This session was a present from Naomi to them as James was heading back to Afghanistan just a week later after the session. We headed out to the Rockeries just off Rockcliffe park for a wonderful afternoon.
Sometimes a good eye and technical skill is not enough to get a great shot as you can see on the 1st photo ,we needed luck as well. We were shooting when out of a sudden this cute dog ran out and started bathing in the fountain, Idon't think they bothered too much about the dog to my delight, and really this photo turned out to be great!-)! What do you think?

Lindsay and Ben- from Hawaii

In August I went up to Mont-St.-Hilaire to take another great couple's photos! It was interesting to figure out who was from where, as Lindsay had Polish heritage from Montreal, Ben's family flew in from Wisconsin and Arkansa and to make the matter more complicated Lindsay and Ben have been living in Hawaii and the wedding took place at Maison Gault in Mont-St. Hilaire, Quebec! Lindsay also a good friend of Tiffany, whose wedding I shot last year, Lindsay really loved their photos so she hired me! Hope you can follow me;-).
Everyone was great and super friendly and funny of course! I specially would like to say thank you to Lindsay's mom , who also took care of my overnight stay at the hotel Great people, great wedding day!

Shannon and Paul- Fun shoot

Shanon, Shannon and Shannon. What can I say? She is one of my favourite woman, she is sweet, caring, beautiful and Paul is just as awesome as she is. I had the privilage to photograph her 5 times, I think already, and twice with Paul. Shannon found me almost a year ago and after doing her boudoir photos, she got "addicted" to have her photos taken by me and she is just "following" me almost every month for a photoshoot. I also met up with their wonderful kids last week, for a family shoot in an apple farm, so stay tuned in for more of their photos!

This time I am taking you ( partially) to a traditional Muslim wedding I shot back in August, however due to respecting the culture I will be posting mostly photos with details rather than faces. I find these images still important since every detail has its importance in the cultural context! Same story: boy meets girl from another culture, they fall in love then they hire me to take some wonderful photos of their commitment;-) !

YAM with me

I am back to blogging again. This post is still part of my 080808 photoshoot with Charly and Jake. They did sign up my whole day package, which included a YAM ( You & Me ) session after their big day. We headed out to Lac Bernard, where we spent a couple of hours of shooting together. It is basically an extended session in a more relaxed environment and more fun and sexy photoshoot to record their commitment to each other. We had a pure few hours of fun together, these images are just a bit of taste of the overall session. I am truly blessed to spend my days with happy and fun people as you will see it, too.

This blue boat was literally hitchhiked off the water. Long story short, we did shoot some images in a kayak when Abbie, Jakes mom saw this boat going by and she started paddleing very fast, while talking loud " WE NEED THE BOAT!" ;-) and we got the boat to shoot many great shots! As a favour I ended up taking some photos of the boat people as a little souvenir for their kindness. Everything is possible, believe in it and great things will be born!;-)

END OF STORY! That is how the wedding dress, the bride and groom finished another great session. Naked;-) Well, almost! ;-)

I could not finish my posts without sharing these silhouette shots with you. I had some spare time on my hands during the reception and decided to make some cool shots with only the available lighting, while creating a story of a boy meets girl. I did a montage because it could be part of a movie, story changes frame to frame. I think this story is very universal, no faces but shadows and body language. I had the pleasure to return to Apple Hill to photograph the lovely sweet couple Charlene and Jake on 080808! I had an absolutely wonderful time up there, when I took their engagement photos. I knew we were going to have a great time together again. They have booked me for the day, which included a YAM ( You and Me) session as well. We will be YAM-ing later in this blog as well;-). We started out in Apple Hill then drove over to St. Raphael's Ruins just in time to catch the rain. Not even the rain could stop our spirit to have fun and take some beautiful photos throughout the day. Thank you very much Nancy, Brian and Abby to be part of your family on that day, I truly enjoyed every minute of it!

Saturday I headed out to Wendover to shoot Nadia and Andre's wedding. Oh, boy, what we were not missing was the rain! Yet we had the one of biggest rainstorm out there but we still pulled off great images! By the end of the day it had cleared up and we headed back outside to catch some of the beautiful sunset. This past Sunday I met up with Katie and Adam. We have been everywhere and under rainy conditions, regardless of the short rainfall we managed to pull off an awesome time together. We have been to tennis court, park, playground, field and water. Very sweet and playful couple whose wedding day will be nothing but pure fun!

Wendy has found me through the internet from Amsterdam back in January. Wendy and Dave are Canadians working and living in Amsterdam at the moment. I have never met them till pretty much the wedding day, but through our phone conservations and emails we knew right away that we are going to have a great time together. I share their love for Europe and we connect on so many ways together. On top, they are super funny ! Since Amsterdam takes up an important part in their lives we also have arranged another shoot in Amsterdam just the 2 of them together cruising in their outfits on their "gazelles" ( bicycles) ....meaning I will have to cruise with them! ;-) Looking forward to that part of the shoot as well. The wedding took place at

Strathmere. We had Linda signed up for us and she was an absolute delight to have around us. I can highly recommend her to any wedding couple!

I had the pleasure couple of weeks ago to shoot Celeena & Sam's wedding at the Southway Inn. It was one of the "craziest" wedding I have done. Celeena had injured her foot 3 days prior to the wedding and she had to spend the whole day in a brace! Nothing but admiration goes for her for her determination and strength! They were absolutely amazing, happy and smiling all the time! DJ. Mellow Dee kept everyone on their feet throughout the evening with his music and personality ! By the way he is very highly recommended !

I shall not cry!---That one did not work;-)

I had the pleasure to drive up Friday early evening to Apple Hill to shoot Charlene and Jake's

e-shoot. It was a very relaxed countryside with lots of mosquitos and plenty of photo opps. We had soo much fun together and took great photos that now I really have to restrain myself not to post many pore pics of them togehter. The wedding will take at the same place which I am looking forward to very much. Thanks a bunch guys for the great evening and I got my Tim Horton's coffee also just down the road!;-) See you soon guys,

I had the pleasure to photograph one of the sweetest couple ! Well, I always say that, but I really do like to work with each and every couple and their families, basically every Saturday is a great one! It was a wonderful day and for a change there were no clouds in the horizon;-)

What a crazy Saturday it was! We started the day with rain also throughout the ceremony and as soon as the couple stepped outside of the church, the sun came through the clouds, kind of smiling at Erin and Luc......Gods must have been smiling at you guys! I also want to say thank you for the great day to you and to both of your families, who were absolutely wonderful to be around! Wish you a great honeymoon and see ya soon;-).

I met up early morning on this past Saturday with Amy and Ed hoping it would be a sunny morning...it was not ;-), regardless we had an awesome time together and we finished our morning at Melos' in the heart of the market with a big breakfast and lots of coffee;-).

Well, I just keep posting some more beautiful photos I took of the Hungarian girls, who are by the way just as gorgeous as their Canadian counterparts. I am truly lucky because wherever I go I always do search for beauty in everyone and in everything and whether I am here or overseas the ladies can not get enough of my work and personality;-), which translate our interaction into beautiful photos! I am very happy when I see all the smiles and their happiness on the faces. I would not switch my work with anybody else that is for sure! I already have similar and other some other types of work lined up for next year in Europe, which I am looking forward to!
